Dreams of a destination wedding are becoming a reality more and more often. In recent years, many couples have decided to take this step. The only limitation is fear. First – about finances, second – about the opinion of others, and third – is it really worth it?
We’ll say this: If you’re looking for a unique experience, an amazing atmosphere, perfect weather, and breathtaking landscapes, then it’s worth it. Dominika and Adrian’s wedding was not only a beautiful ceremony but also the adventure of a lifetime!
A Love Story Longer Than a Day
In the first few days, we had the chance to realize two sessions. The first, in the morning, allowed us to capture the freshness and juiciness of the morning, and the second, in the evening, added a romantic atmosphere to the whole. We wanted the photos to tell the love story of Dominika and Adrian, and not just be a “documentation of the event.” The truth is that with a backdrop like Cyprus, the photos take on a completely new, amazing quality. Different light, different air, different landscape. And time. Time is an indisputable ally of the photographer. Usually it is lacking, in the rush to meet the schedule, the session on the wedding day takes a backseat, and it is these shots that fully enrich the reportage. The story of Dominika and Adrian was longer than one day.
Wedding in Tochni: The Magic of a Cypriot Town
Dominika and Adrian’s wedding took place in the picturesque town of Tochni. The place, which they found by chance during their first trip to Cyprus, stole their hearts (and stomachs!). The wedding ceremony with the participation of an official, full of warmth and emotion, took place in a local tavern. Dominika looked stunning in a silk dress, and the love in Adi’s eyes was evident. We knew we could afford to experiment, break conventions. Thanks to this, frames were created that go beyond traditional wedding photography. The use of flash during the day, a polaroid camera and creating GIFs are trends in wedding photography that stimulate our artistic hearts.
