The wedding of Monika and Radek at Cicha 23: Magical Moments Captured on Analog Film

Discover how analog photography, bringing uniqueness and authenticity, enriches the wedding reportage in one of the most recognizable places in Poland - the wedding of Monika and Radek at Cicha 23.

Cicha 23: The Perfect Venue for a Slow Style Wedding

Cicha 23 is undoubtedly one of the top wedding venues in Poland. It combines the beauty of nature with the philosophy of slow living and zero waste. It’s a place with soul, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet so close to Warsaw. Since the beginning of our duo’s existence, we’ve wanted to capture a wedding reportage there, and we succeeded.

Monika and Radek: A Wedding Full of Naturalness

Monia and Radek chose to experience this day in a unique way. Close to nature, yet without clichés. Surrounded by their loved ones and in the company of their beloved dog Teodor, who is an integral part of their lives. They added even more magic and naturalness to this place.

Authenticity and Sincerity: Wedding Captured on Analog Film

For Monia and Radek, authenticity was crucial. They wanted to capture real emotions, avoiding artificiality or posing. It was sincerity that was the essence of their day. We felt so close to their approach, which reminded us of the uniqueness of analog photography. Taking advantage of the fact that this time we were working as a photographic duo, Kostek allowed himself to capture the fleeting moments on analog film.

The Uniqueness of Analog Photography: Bridging the Digital and Analog Worlds

Analog photography possesses a uniqueness that cannot be replicated. The grain and a touch of dust captured on film, or light leaks – all of these become valuable in an age of perfect digital imagery. Don’t get us wrong. We love the colors and the plasticity of light that technology provides. However, the ideal solution seems to be the combination of the digital and analog worlds!

Conclusions: Is Analog Photography a Good Choice for a Wedding?

Do we think analog photography will work for a wedding? Absolutely! It adds originality, a touch of unpredictability, and sincerity to the image itself! Though undoubtedly – it’s nice to have the certainty that material is simultaneously being created for you on a digital camera:) If we’ve whetted your appetite for more, check out our other reportages – here!
